It took us a good 30 minutes to find this school, and still failed! Obviously they are not ready to accept new students yet. Google map took us to construction area (i presumed the back of the school which is still under construction). And so did waze. The school should know it is impossible to find the entrance using google maps or waze and therefore should have provided us with maps with direction. Disappointing

Full disclosure - my company does consulting work for Kingsgate. That being said, it’s just a great looking school, right next to TPM. A bit of construction being finished up at one end of the City of Green complex, but the school is at the other end and complete. I’m biased of course, but worth checking out if you’re looking for a school in the area.

We just recently moved to Malaysia and we were weighing the pros and cons of sending our son to an established school with big number classes or to a new school and ‘grow’ with it. My wife and I are very happy we decided on Kingsgate International School. The teachers are all expatriate professionals and parent interaction with them and school management is very good. My son enjoys his schooling and has said his teacher is absolutely awesome!

The play-based learning at Kingsgate International School, I think, is simply awesome! The teachers are so passionate in their role and are such experts when dealing with little ones. I really appreciated how they treated my child. He was crying and did not want to go to school at the beginning. After week two, he didn’t want to miss a day and even wants to go to School during the school holidays.

Kingsgate International School is a good fit school for our family. The 'luxury' of getting the best student: teacher ratio is priceless! My son is benefitting so much more in terms of having solid engagement with his teacher and building stronger friendships with his classmates. Kingsgate is truly an International School with a good balance of local and international students - multi-nations are represented showcasing joyful, vibrant and colourful cultural experiences for all to learn and enjoy.

The delivery of the British Curriculum at Kingsgate International School is very unique. The School’s teaching is based on the beliefs and values of Da Vinci. My daughter is not limited to choosing between the Sciences or the Arts but rather she is encouraged and nurtured to blend her learning. The School manages to show that innovation can be a balance between Science and Art. In my opinion, the teachers are very experienced and capable to teach this way.

In the beginning, I was a little skeptical about Kingsgate as it is a new school housed in a condominium compound. However, the biggest draw was that it's really close to my house and this would make the commute to and from school so much better and easier. A visit to the school was well worth it and they didn’t disappoint! It's an amazingly beautiful and colourful school, with big classrooms and an impressive courtyard. Staff, teachers and students were very welcoming and engaging. My kid's teacher, I feel, is very knowledgable and cares to ensure my kid gets equal chances to explore and I can see she gives extra support and direction for my kid to gain a better understanding of subjects. Definitely no rote learning happening here at Kingsgate!

I decided on Kingsgate International School for my son for many reasons: I appreciate the education policies and principles the School follows; passionate, qualified, caring teachers; direct access to teachers and management. The personal touch is also a very pleasant change as the children are received in the morning by members of the senior leadership team.
